কত সালে রাষ্ট্রভাষা সংগ্রাম পরিষদ গঠিত হয়?

Interrogative sentence এর Reported speech যদি Interrogative Pronoun (Who, Whom, Whose, What, Which ইত্যাদি) বা Interrogative Adverb (Why, How, Where ইত্যাদি) দ্বারা শুরু হয়, তবে if/whether বসে না, ঐ word টিই বসে। এক্ষেত্রেও sentence টির Assertive form বসে।

Farida said to her mother, "I shall go to bed now" - - - - বাক্যটির indirect speech হবে - - Farida told her mother that she would go to bed then.

Reporting verb টি past tense এবং reported speech টি future tense এ থাকলে indirect speech এ would + verb এর present form হয়।

Direct speech এ Come থাকলে Indirect speech এ go হয়। আর Imperative বাক্যের ক্ষেত্রে সুবিধাজনক subject ধরে নিয়ে Indirect speech করা যায়। বাক্যের অর্থঃ সে আমাকে সেখানে যেতে বলেছিলো।

direct speech এ reporting verb টি past হলে এবং reported speech এ must থাকলে তা indirect speech এ must পরিবর্তিত হয়ে had to হয় এবং said verb এর পর that বসে ।
