CPU এর পূর্ণরপ কী ?

নির্দিষ্ট পরিমাণ বা সংখ্যা বোঝাতে Plural Countable Noun এর পূর্বে the number of বসে এবং এরপরে Singular Verb ব্যবহৃত হয়।
প্রদত্ত বাক্যে 'people' একটি Plural Countable Noun এবং বাক্যের মূল Verb হিসেবে is (Singular) রয়েছে। 'a number of' বা 'many' বসলে Verb-টি Plural হতো এবং 'a great deal of' Uncountable Noun এর পূর্বে বসে।

Only দ্বারা যুক্ত থাকা বাক্যকে negative করতে nothing but অথবা none but যোগ করতে হয়। যেহেতু only বাক্য sweets অর্থাৎ বস্তুকে নির্দেশ করেছে। সুতরাং nothing but যুক্ত করে বাক্যটিকে negative করতে হবে। 

সুতরাং সঠিক negative বাক্য A child likes nothing but sweets।

He said that he could do the work.

Notes:

--  When converting to indirect (reported) speech, the present tense verb "can" shifts to the past tense "could" because the reporting verb "said" is in the past.

--- The pronoun and object remain the same in this sentence

Common gender : Child, Teacher, Student, Friend, Parent, Servant, Person, Neighbour, Orphan, Monarch, Candidate, Enemy, and Baby. 
 

"The man appears to be stronger than any other living man" is grammatically correct.
